They support victims of crime during and after trauma and accompanies them as they go through the process of finding justice. Southwest Food Coalition

Southwest Food Coalition is a team of residents and community agencies working together to increase access to food and improve food systems in Southwest Metro Denver. They are action-oriented and inclusive of everyone in the food system - from farm to resident. They take action to increase food access for everyone in our community with support from regional partners and community members.

Southwest Denver Coalition

The Southwest Denver Coalition facilitates collaboration between the Southwest Denver community, local community based organizations, nonprofit organizations, and the City of Denver. They promote community engagement to highlight the neighborhood needs and to efficiently connect constituents to the appropriate service provider. Denver Public Library

The Westwood Branch Library is located inside of the Westwood Community Center. The library recently doubled its size with the addition of a computer lab, bringing the total to 12 computers. The library is staffed by a crew of 8 people ready to help customers with a wide variety of services. The library offers free computer access, with assistance if needed. It also offers free printing, faxing and scanning.

The library has a large collection of children's books in English and Spanish. There are also books for adults as well as magazines and movies. The staff is able to order any items a customer is looking for. The library has a digital navigator on Thursdays. He is able to help with 1:1 appointments and drop-in technology questions. The library recently began offering snacks from Food Bank of the Rockies.

The Westwood Branch Library is proud to join the other agencies in the Community Center, offering a wide variety of services to everyone in the Westwood neighborhood.

My Outdoor Colorado – Westwood Family Nature Club

MOC takes a visionary approach to connecting youth with the outdoors through strategic partnerships that provide access to nature education, recreation, and skill-building opportunities. Access to the outdoors fosters a greater appreciation of the natural environment, provides opportunities to build an ethic of stewardship, and helps youth experience potential careers in the outdoors. Vietnamese Community of Colorado

Vietnamese Community of Colorado’s mission is to revitalize our local community and to provide resources and connections with other organizations and government agencies for the Vietnamese residents in Colorado, while also providing aids to other groups in needs, such as our homeless population.

Roots Family Center

Roots works to grow the next generation of confident, compassionate and healthy children who are rooted in the culture and strengths of their families and communities. They work primarily with Spanish speaking families and currently, are the only organization providing PAT and HIPPY to the southwest communities. Their programs provide Enhanced Home Visitation by incorporating Infant Mental Health best practices in every home visit. Please visit their website to get connected.

Denver Human Services

Denver Human Services (DHS), envisions a healthy community where people are connected, supported, safe and well. One in three people in Denver turn to DHS for support at all stages of life. Their employees help children, older adults, families, and individuals navigate social and economic pressures by connecting them to services and experts who support their overall well-being. DHS now has a neighborhood resource site located inside Westwood Community Center, open Mon-Fri from 8am-4pm.
